Andrew Appell is a new development strategist and real estate advisor known for clarity under pressure and brand-forward thinking. A Pratt Institute–trained designer and former architecture project manager, Andrew co-leads the Appell-Fernandez Team at SERHANT., specializing in the branding, marketing, and sales of new development projects and luxury properties across Brooklyn and Manhattan. From site analysis and floor plan logic to pricing strategy and sellout execution, Andrew is trusted by developers not only to sell product, but to help shape it.
With nearly a decade of experience and over $600M in closed sales, Andrew has exclusively represented distinguished new developments, boutique condos, and high-touch resale properties. He has also carved out a niche in the luxury townhouse space, spearheading bespoke restorations and the design and sales of multiple high-end spec homes. His architectural eye and marketing fluency bring rare depth to client service, while his sincerity, composure, and clean execution ensure that every deal is navigated with confidence and care.
Andrew earned his Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute and began his career in New York City’s design firms as a project manager. That training in spatial logic, systems thinking, and design precision continues to shape how he approaches every transaction today — building trust and clarity like an architect builds structures: intentionally.
A native of Ditmas Park with generations of Brooklyn roots, Andrew now lives in Mill Basin with his wife and two children. Beyond real estate, he’s a lifelong home cook who still designs — just in cast iron — and a devoted father who balances sharp strategy at work with time on the basketball court, in the kitchen, or exploring the city with his family.
