Matt Van Wie

With over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate industry that includes being a top-producing Realtor, Broker, and Real Estate Attorney, Matt’s unique portfolio of experience allows him to offer his clients expertise they cannot get from anyone else.  Over the course ofhis career, Matt has brokered countless sales from contract to closing, closed many sales as an Attorney, and even been retained by banks, trustees, and lawyers to serve as their Expert Witness in Real Estate.  Today, Matt’s passion is drawing from his diverse experience to help his clients buy and sell Real Estate in Florida.

Ryan Serhant, one of the top Real Estate Brokers in the world and Star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” and Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan” asked Matt to be the Founding Member of SERHANT. Miami in 2023.  Together, Matt and Ryan Serhantwork with clients from all over the world.  Matt’s clients are local and global, and include CEO’s, celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, professionals, businesspeople, and investors.

Through his alignment with SERHANT., the most-followed Real Estate brand in the world with a large social media presence and global TV audience, Matt can give his Sellers exposure to a much deeper pool of buyers than they cannot get anywhere else, and he can give his Buyers access to off-market properties that no one else is privy to.

Matt's passion for Real Estate began as a child.  The Son of a Developer, his family owned and operated a Real Estate Development firm that designed, built, sold, and managed residential and commercial projects up and down the East Coastfor well over 25 years.  He learned at a young age what it takes to sell major projects, and close sales.

He began his own Real Estate career two decades ago when he joined a local brokerage and quickly became it’s #1 producing Agent.  With over 100 Listings, Matt decided to build his first Real Estate Team, which he grew into the #2 overall producing team across multiple states for a national brokerage in just his second year in the business.

Matt first came to Miami in 2009 to pursue his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Estate from The University of Miami School of Law and fell in love with Miami’s vibrant cultural scene and year-round tropical climate. Matt leads an active lifestyle that includes running, weight-training, organizing and attending social events, and is very active in his Church.  Matt speaks conversational Spanish with his Latin clients and has become nearly fluent. In his spare time, Matt enjoys theater, yachting, and traveling internationally.
