Mike's wife and partner, Mary Jo Santistevan, is the one who originally got him interested in the industry. In 2008, she started the business and reached out to her husband for assistance. He took a nine-day crash course in real estate school and passed the state exam not long after! Together they have created a phenomenal team that consistently ranks in The Phoenix Business Journal Top 25 Teams.
While originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mike found his niche in Ahwatukee, quickly growing fond of the sense of community, scenic mountain views, and brilliant sunsets in the area. At present, he has lived in Ahwatukee for more than 20 years and services within the Phoenix real estate market. The Santistevan Group works with people of all demographics, regardless of whether they're first-time home buyers, sellers, or investors.
Mike has an amiable and personable demeanor, making it easy for his clients to approach him and trust in his opinions. Buying and selling luxury homes can seem glamorous from the outside looking in, but in reality, it has many moving parts that can be overwhelming at times.
Luckily for his clients, Mike is exceedingly patient and honest. He tries to make the entire process as fun and stress-free as possible. To do that, Mike assists his clients in getting their homes ready for sale and established post-purchase. Mary Jo and Mike count many of their clients among their friends and family. When he's not working, Mike likes to travel, go camping, fish, cook, and watching the latest NFL games. He considers himself extraordinarily lucky to work alongside his beautiful wife and partner every day and loves spending time with his family and friends.
Together they have two sons, Jakob and Jordan. Jakob currently attends Grand Canyon University and works at Mountainside Fitness, while Jordan lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Lizza.
